Frequently Asked Questions

What does the scan actually cover?
The scan checks for 83 machine-detectable WCAG 2.1 A/AA rules. This includes mechanical failures like missing alt text, incorrect heading hierarchies, missing form labels, and insufficient color contrast. It focuses on issues that can be definitively identified via DOM analysis.
What can't it find?
Automated detection catches roughly a third of accessibility barriers. It cannot determine if a description is accurate, if a tab order is logical, or if complex custom widgets function correctly. Manual testing with assistive technology like screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard navigation is required for the remaining two-thirds of WCAG criteria.
Can I re-scan after fixing things?
Yes. Each $99 report includes one follow-up scan within 30 days of purchase to verify your remediation work. Subscriptions include weekly automated re-scans.
How do refunds work?
If the scan fails to provide actionable findings or misses machine-detectable defects present on the target pages, we offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Just use the contact form above to request one.
What does monitoring include?
Monitoring provides weekly scans of up to 50 pages, email alerts when new mechanical defects are introduced to your production environment, and a historical dashboard to track your remediation progress over time.
